Stats and Speculations

NEW-NAME NUMBERS: In the years when the stadium has a name change ('96, '05, '06, and '09) the Marlins have a combined .506 win percentage (328-320). For all the other years the Marlins win-loss total is at 955-1083, for a .469 win percentage.

Not 'Some' - 'Sun!',... as in the brand-spanking new name for the NFL-declared obsoletarium that the Dolphins, Hurricanes and Marlins play in. It's now Sun Life Stadium, named for a financial concern that hopefully has at least a bit more legitimacy than the one that named good ol' Enron Field in Texas.
